Asian Cup 2022: India’s possible 11, Pakistan’s possible 11

Two days left until the blockbuster match between cricket’s arch rivals India and Pakistan. The Asian Cup 2022 will kick off from Saturday, August 27, with Sri Lanka playing against Afghanistan, and the next day it will clamp down on two neighbors India and Pakistan.

6 teams will participate in the cup. India and Pakistan are in Group A with Hong Kong qualifying team, while Afghanistan, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka are in Group B.

Pakistan likely to play 11

The opening pair of Pakistani captain Babar Azam and Mohammed Rizwan made India uncomfortable at last year’s World Cup. Pakistan will repeat the same in the Asian Cup. Babar is currently the #1 batsman in T20I and his explosive partner Rizwan will be looking for another devastating start.

Mohamed Wasim JR. He picked 17 rooks in 11 games at 15.88 and is also very handy with the bat. Shaheen was replaced by Mohammad Hasnain. Hasnain has played 18 T20I matches so far and took 17 wickets.
