After Samsung and Galaxy Z Fold 3 smartphones, it was Google’s turn to leak on the internet. The web giant’s US online store briefly showed off photos of about four new Nest devices. Google will indeed launch a new line of Nest devices in 2021, but so far no official announcement has been made.
While the new devices appear to have been removed from the US version of the Google Store minutes after the leak, that hasn’t stopped people from taking screenshots of the wearables. These screenshots, which you can see later in the article, therefore show new devices from Google. Among them we will find an indoor/outdoor Nest camera battery operated, another camera with two integrated projectorsa wired camera dedicated to indoor surveillance, and finally, a connected doorbell and (future?) rival to the other Amazon giant’s Ring.
Google Store: new connected security cameras appear
Despite the leaked product images, almost no prices were displayed, except for some packages. Based on the images below, you will notice that the “Outdoor Monitoring Package” and “Front Door Monitoring Package” cost approximately 250 TL, considering the 30 TL discount.
It is not yet clear when these new objects will officially appear. This isn’t the first time Google has unwittingly disclosed its linked objects. In 2019, the company accidentally revealed the Nest Hub Max a few weeks before it was announced. But two years later, with the new lineup of Nest devices already appearing on the official online store, Google will likely make an imminent announcement in the fall of 2021.
