A UPS or (Uninterruptible Power Supply) are smart investments if your area has frequent power outages. These devices switch to battery power, providing an uninterrupted experience of using your PC. However, not all UPSs are created equal, and some may be overkill (or insufficient) for your needs.

The APC BE600M1 is a UPS suitable for small home offices with devices that consume less power. It has a large number of outputs and includes five surge protected outputs to filter out surge voltages and voltage spikes. However, the main hero of this UPS is the power switch. It’s a well-designed device. All the outlets on the top have enough space between them to allow you to plug in your devices with ease. It also includes a USB-A port with 1.5A power.
The APC BE600M1 is a low power UPS and provides approximately 330 W of power. During short power outages it is sufficient to power small devices such as routers, modems, printers and monitors. However, if you want to connect it to a PC, things can get a little limiting. For example, UPS is not enough to sustain a high-end computer. It comes with a reasonable number of outlets. For now you get a total of 8 outputs and come with a mix of battery connected and surge protected outputs (5 + 3). Compared to above, you get an extra USB-A port.
The only problem is that the ports have minimal space between the outputs. So if you have a thick power plug, it can be a bit of a hassle to place it in the middle.
That said, there are a few good things about it. For example, alarms, setup times, etc. Allows you to configure the UPS for both macOS and Windows laptops. If your home office has a limited number of devices, or most of them consume less power, the CyberPower SL700U is a good choice to save you from squirrel blackouts.

As mentioned earlier, the battery has a respectable weight. If we talk about the numbers, it can take around 40 minutes at 60W load. Other than that, Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR) allows the UPS to compensate for under or over voltage so connected devices get a consistent voltage. The AVR has been praised by many users, especially at this price point.

This 1500VA UPS can provide up to 847W of power. The folks at Wirecutter found it lasted for about 4 hours at a 20W load and 21 minutes at a 300W load. Second, it means you can do a little more on your computer before shutting it down during a power outage. On the other hand, if you have low-end devices like modems and routers, it may take about 4 hours. Is not it beautiful?
More importantly, the built-in sine wave inverter makes this UPS safe for sensitive machines like CPAP. It has 10 outputs and includes a USB-C port and a USB-A connector.
