WhatsApp: You’ll soon be able to privately reply to messages from a group

Beta of version 2.18.335 whatsapp on android WABetaInfo is released through the Google Play Beta Program. This release marks the arrival of “Custom Replies”. Not surprisingly, this option is reserved for group chats. It just doesn’t really work for conversations between two people. To take advantage of this latest innovation, we invite you to download and install the WhatsApp beta APK on Android.

WhatsApp is currently testing “private replies” between members of a group chat

for use private answers. All you have to do is go to a discussion group, find the message you want to reply to, and select “reply privately” (at the top right of your screen). The application will automatically open the private chat with the author of the message. This option will please users who want to keep their answers private.

As WABetaInfo points out, this option also works for groups that have been closed by their administrators. Likewise, you will be able to reply to messages that only admins of a group can reply to. It is not yet known when WhatsApp will release specific responses to stable versions of Android and iOS.
