WhatsApp will soon have a new feature: the ability to make direct purchases without ever leaving the app. Facebook, which owns the software, is a company that relies heavily on online sales and aims to do just that. Expand this small business everywhere.
Mark Zuckerberg’s company hasn’t given any details on how this new functionality works, but an official video offers a first glimpse of what awaits us. It would be possible to contact a company (we think through a bot) and ask it questions. The latter would then respond through dedicated pages where it would be possible to purchase products with a single click.

WhatsApp is a messaging app that is praised for its simplicity. The inclusion of a commercial dimension creates a contradiction for users.
An unconvincing first attempt
The first test of in-app purchases on WhatsApp was carried out in Brazil, allowing users to send money to each other. It was also possible to shop online. This system used Facebook Pay, but he couldn’t really convince the Brazilian authorities to put a stop to it. This hasn’t deterred Facebook from focusing on this new redesigned functionality as we thought it would.
