A number of new features are coming to WhatsApp. Meta’s instant messaging is far from built on its laurels and offerings even more features, like animated stickers that look like you, or a very simple way to transfer your conversations between smartphones. The latest beta version of the Android app, number 2.23.15.4, is no exception. Our colleagues at WABetaInfo noted: some messages are displayed across the entire length of the screen.
Currently, as soon as a message exceeds a certain length it gets cut off and you have to press “more” to scroll through the rest. Full-screen viewing overrides the maneuver, but there is a limit. Relevant to messages from communities and group conversations that only the admin can publish. As of now, it’s unclear whether Meta plans to expand this feature to all conversation types. Apparently this is it.
WhatsApp wants to display messages across the entire screen
The full-screen display still remains interesting. When only one person can type in a group, it’s easy to imagine that the main goal is to quickly convey information to a group of people. By using the entire length of the mobile screen, we avoid hiding elements that readers cannot see. When we know thisA WhatsApp community can contain up to 50 subgroups and thousands of membersthis makes sense.
You can try this feature by registering. Beta branch of WhatsApp on Android. To do this, go to: WhatsApp beta version site Click “Become a tester” in your browser and then follow the instructions. Attention The program may be closed if too many registrants are reached.. You will have to try your luck again later. Also remember that the rollout of new features doesn’t have to happen to all beta testers at the same time. Patience is required.
