A common problem that you may encounter on your Android device is the error in the app stop code. This error mostly pops up after reboot and persists while accessing other apps. If you suddenly start getting the error in the application message, try these solutions.
While the error is mostly associated with problematic apps, there are times when a SIM card can cause it. For example, a dirty or faulty SIM card can cause most system apps to become unavailable.
Additionally, certain apps like SIM toolkit are more prone to this app error.
1. Wait for the Server to Clear the Error

If the error occurs after restarting your device, some background apps may still be unavailable. In such cases, we recommend waiting for the server to clear the error.
After waiting, long press the power button to reboot your phone. If the error persists, try these other solutions.
2. Uninstall Then Reinstall Problematic Apps
A problematic application can manifest itself in two ways; the application crashes or an error message appears on startup. If the troublesome application is throwing an error, uninstalling and reinstalling may fix it. Follow these steps to disable and then restart your apps.
Stage 1: Go to Google Play Store and click your profile photo.

Step 2: Select Manage apps and device to view the app you want to uninstall.

Stage 3: Click on the Manage tab and find the problematic application.

Step 4: Click Uninstall from the Applications page.

Step 5: Wait a few minutes and then reinstall the app. Restart your phone and confirm if the error is cleared.
3. Clear Data and Cache
Every Android device caches apps’ data. The data caching service saves information so that it is easily accessible when you visit the same websites. But sometimes this cached information can get corrupted. If the error in app issues is due to your saved information, clearing the data will fix it.
Stage 1: Go to your phone’s Settings and click on Apps.

Step 2: Find the problematic app from the list of all apps on the device.

Stage 3: Select Storage in the Apps info.

Step 4: Select Clear Cache and Clear Data to clear saved information.

Note: The location of these files may differ depending on the type of device. Since all data such as saved passwords, pictures or information will not be available after clearing data and cache, the cleared app loads much slower on the next startup.
4. Clean Apps Running in the Background
Apart from consuming a lot of data, apps running in the background also take up most of your storage. So, limited storage is a major cause of error in app issue and you need free space to clear error.
Stage 1: On the Settings page, scroll down and click About phone.

Step 2: Find the build number and click seven times to unlock the Developer options.

Stage 3: Go back to the Settings page and click Developer options.

Step 4: Select Running services to view RAM usage for different applications.

Step 5: From the list, select the app you don’t need that seems to be taking up too much space.

Step 6: Click Stop to stop the processes and services of the applications.

Note: It is highly recommended that you only stop the apps that you are sure will not affect the performance of your device. Stopping some apps can cause your system to crash or other apps to malfunction.
5. Factory Reset Your Device
A hard reset on your Android device can fix the bug with the app issue. Factory reset will erase everything and fix corrupted files in this process.
But don’t forget to back up your information before resetting your device. A backup procedure makes it less likely to lose important data.
Here’s how you can ensure your data is backed up regularly.
Stage 1: On your Settings page, click Backup & Reset.

Step 2: Set Backup my data to On and also choose a backup account. You can also allow Automatic restoration of data on your phone. Restart your device.

After backing up your data, follow the steps below to factory reset your phone.
Stage 3: On the Backup & reset page, tap Factory data reset.

Step 4: Click Reset phone.

Step 5: Tap Erase Everything and your data will be deleted.

Once the reset is complete, try accessing various apps to verify if the error has been cleared.
Clearing the Error in the Application
The above solutions should help fix the error in the app problem. Another viable solution would be to clean your SIM card and slot. You can also check if the SIM card is faulty and needs to be replaced. As a result, verify that your storage and external devices are in perfect working order.
