Google’s impressive Nexus 6P smartphone has been available in three colors since the end of October, but now one more option is available. Starting today, the larger Nexus 6P is finally available in a special Gold edition for those in the United States.
In September, Google announced two new smartphones. Nexus 5X and larger premium Nexus 6P to highlight the new version of Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The Nexus 6P has been shown in four beautiful colors to complement the all-aluminum design, but only three have been released.
The Nexus 6P was launched in graphite black, aluminum and ice white. The special edition gold option was nowhere to be found. But we have good news today as it is available in select stores for US buyers. Read on for more details.
The Nexus 6P special edition Gold model is exactly the same as the others and only has a different colour. So users can expect the same beautiful 5.7-inch Quad-HD display, an ultra-fast fingerprint scanner on the back, a great camera on the back, the latest Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow, and fast charging with a USB Type-C port. .
The only thing that makes it “special” is its golden color. Google launched the Gold Nexus 6P in December for a few select regions like Japan or India, but now those in the states can get it too.
Users who are still on the fence about the Nexus 6P or its gold color variant can head to a nearby Best Buy retail store and try it out in-store starting today, Jan. Best Buy has been offering the Nexus 6P since November, and it should be in stock online as well as the gold variant starting today.
However, the best option for buyers is to simply go to: google store and buy the Nexus 6P Gold. It’s worth noting that Google only offers it as 32GB and 64GB without the gold 128GB version. So this phone looks good and retails for $499 or $549.
