Search for the Loch Ness Monster from your phone

Do you want to find the Loch Ness Monster? Most of us would love to explore the Loch Ness lake where Nessie allegedly lives, but taking a day off to travel to the Scottish Highlands and search for the Loch Ness Monster is impractical.

A new Google Maps tool lets you search for the Loch Ness Monster from your smartphone or tablet using Google Maps. The new Street View of Loch Ness Lake is essentially a water view, with a boat cruising around the Loch in search of Nessie.

In the new Google Maps search for the Loch Ness Monster, you can search Loch ness lake above and below the water without leaving your home.

In 1934, the famous Surgeon’s photograph showed the Loch Ness Monster poking its head over the dark, peaty waters of Loch Ness lake. While many now believe this photo of Nessie is fake, there is a widespread hope that a Loch Ness Monster will one day show up.

Google Maps It now includes a 360-degree view of Loch Ness in Street View, so you can explore without leaving your home. Has Google found the Loch Ness Monster? Not yet, but they playfully challenge its users to discover and search for Nessie in new pictures.

There is a nice view to see above the water, but visibility below the water’s edge is very poor due to the water in Loch Ness. Google explored and photographed the Loch Ness lake using a boat and divers, which provides an impressive view of what lives below the surface.

You can use Google Maps on Android to explore Loch Ness with Street View, but currently on iPhone this doesn’t work for us. You can also search your computer to find the Loch Ness Monster.

Clicking this link will launch Google Maps It will open Google Maps on Android and also in Safari for iPhone users. Once in Street View mode, you can tap the arrows and tap around to explore and search for the Loch Ness monster.

This isn’t the first time smartphones have played a role in Nessie’s discovery. A Satellite image taken from Apple Maps in 2014 showed a mysterious image that some think shows the Loch Ness Monster. Looks like the image is probably shows a boat awakening From a ship sailing across Lake Loch Ness.
