Battery life issues aren’t the only ones plaguing Samsung’s new flagship. Galaxy S6 users also complain Bluetooth problems, screen rotation issues, problems with signal strength, screen sensitivity issues, problems with messages, Galaxy S6 camera related issues, sound and notification issues, boot problems, random dropped calls, and more. These are just scratching the surface.

Our Experience

We’ve been using several different Galaxy S6 variants (AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile) since its launch in early April. And while we did see a few issues arise, our experience has been pretty solid.

Over the past few weeks, we have encountered some Galaxy S6 problems of our own. Verizon Galaxy S6 exhibits occasional lag. We weren’t able to diagnose the problem but it could be something with the memory. Both AT&T and T-Mobile Galaxy S6 variants have been running efficiently since launch.

The AT&T Galaxy S6 model is dealing with some Wi-Fi issues where the device randomly disconnects. It looks like an issue we’ve seen with the iPhone 6 months after it came out. This issue doesn’t seem to be common, so there’s no guarantee that AT&T and Samsung will fix it with a bug fix update.

We’ve also seen a few app crashes over the past three weeks, but most of them were limited to Facebook’s Android app. We’ve also seen Twitter crash a few times.

Other than these issues though, we haven’t seen anything else pop up. That’s pretty impressive for a phone that only came out a few weeks ago.

Bug Fix Updates

If you’re dealing with Galaxy S6 issues, know that carriers are working on bug fixes to eliminate some of the initial issues. carriers like Vodafone Australia And telstra They have confirmed Android 5.0.2 Lollipop updates for Galaxy S6 versions. If these operators are planning bug fix updates, there is a good chance that other carriers plan to push the bug fixers first to tackle some of the more glaring issues. Carriers in the United States never reach out, so it’s impossible to tell when they might or might release something. We’d be surprised if they didn’t, though.
