Now that the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 has been released and has been on the market for a few weeks now, buyers are probably considering all their options if they want a device with such a big screen. Now more buyers than ever before have tons of options and here we are going to compare Motorola’s new Moto X Pure Edition with the Galaxy Note 5.
No one expected the Moto X to compete with the Samsung Note 5, but when Motorola announced the new Moto X on July 28 and announced that it has a 5.7-inch display instead of the 5.2-inch screen like in previous years, it instantly became the center of attention. If the $700+ Galaxy Note 5 is too expensive for some, the Moto X is a good alternative and we’ll explain why below.
On July 28, Motorola announced three new phones. An impressive $179 Moto G, Moto X Play and Moto X Style for 2015. The Moto X Style is actually the new Moto X 3rd Gen for 2015 and is available as the Moto X Pure Edition in the United States from September 2nd.
Both of these phones have a large 5.7 inch screen, plenty of processing power, and a few unique features or options that set them apart. Of course, Samsung has the S-Pen stylus and an all aluminum and glass design, while Motorola offers more customization than any smartphone maker on the planet.
