It was our colleagues at Android Police who got their hands on Waze’s upcoming version 4.0. They noticed some changes in the interface with slightly flatter shapes and new animations. Not to mention the material design, the next version of the app will still be a bit more refined.
The interface of this version 4.0 is similar to that of iOS, which was released last October. Basically, cosmetic changes aimed at improving the readability of the app and making the user experience more enjoyable. That won’t be the case, however, which reassures users of the app who fear a radical change.
For those who are not yet familiar with Waze, it is a community navigation app that provides information about traffic and road hazards from other users. It also allows you to report the presence of speed cameras and law enforcement that have already angered the police.
Waze 4.0 will not lose its user-friendly interface and the little touches of humor that make the service so attractive. We leave with a video presentation of the interface to demonstrate this new version.
