Earlier this morning US Cellular approved The LG G4 will be launching the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update today and we’ve had several reports that users have already received it, one of which stated that the over-the-air update notification went live on January 11 last night. Initial rumors suggested that most US carriers would cancel before January 10, but that didn’t happen.

US Cellular usually receives updates at the same time as Verizon Wireless; this could be a sign that the Verizon LG G4 is next in line, but without any announcements or confirmations it’s hard to predict. That said, we expect AT&T, Verizon and T-Mobile to roll out LG G4 updates before the end of the month.
