The latest major new feature: We told you about it a few months ago, Instagram has finally introduced a new option to disable reader approvals. In other words, your recipient will no longer be notified when you open their last message, allowing you to sneak a peek at the conversation. To do this, go to: Settings & activity > Reply to messages and stories > Show read receipts then disable the option Read the receipt.
