How to Join Galaxy Note 9 Android Pie Beta

If you want to try the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 Android Pie update before it is released in January, you should join the Galaxy Note 9 Android Pie beta program.

Samsung usually keeps the Galaxy Beta Program exclusive to Galaxy S models, but that changed with the launch of the Galaxy Note 9 Pie beta this year.

The company has opened its beta program to its flagship Note, and the beta is giving Galaxy Note 9 users a chance to try Android Pie and One UI ahead of its official release on certain models in certain regions (registrations are currently limited).

Signing up for the Galaxy Note 9 Android Pie beta only takes a few moments and gets you in line to try out Samsung’s new features and UI before the official release ships to the Galaxy S9, Galaxy S9+, and Galaxy Note 9 in January. 2019.

If you have a compatible device and want to join the Android Pie beta, here’s what you need to do.

How to Sign Up for Galaxy Note 9 Android Pie Beta

If you want to take the Android Pie update and One UI for a spin on your Galaxy Note 9, you need to download it. Samsung Members application known as Samsung+ in North America. Download the app from the Galaxy Apps store or Google Play store.

If you already have Samsung Members or the Samsung+ app, you need to download the latest version to get support for the beta.

After downloading the appropriate app, launch it and you can see a banner that says “One UI on Galaxy Note9 with Android 9.0”. Tap this and submit your Galaxy Beta Program application form. If the beta isn’t live for your Galaxy Note 9 model in your region, you won’t see any of these options yet.

If you have a Samsung Account and meet all Samsung’s inclusion criteria, you are ready. If you do not have a Samsung account, you must create one. Samsung’s website to continue.

Once the Galaxy Note 9 beta is released in your region, go to your device’s Settings. Once inside, go to Software update > download updates. If you have the Galaxy Note 9 Android Pie beta update, you can pull the update to your phone.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 9 Android Pie beta is available in India, Germany, and the United States, and we may see it roll out to other countries before the end of the year. Potential markets are the UK, South Korea, China, France, Poland and Spain.

Beta testers are also strongly advised to back up their files before downloading the software. You can use Samsung’s Smart Switch by doing so.

Potential Android Pie beta testers should also download the latest app updates in order for them to work properly when running the Android Pie beta.

When you get the Android Pie beta on your Galaxy Note 9, you should report bugs and performance issues to Samsung so that its engineers can improve the software before the official release in January. This can be done via the Samsung Members app or Samsung+.
