Google Play Store: Habit-breaking new design

Google Play Store has a new design. The Android app is getting a refresh and offers a very different interface that risks upsetting users’ habits a bit, at least initially. One of the immediately noticeable differences is the modification of colors. We find a lot of green compared to what used to be sacrificed in favor of black and white. A choice that makes the interface much simpler and less imaginative. At this level, it is above all a matter of taste.

Google Play Store: New design coming to more users

New version of Google Play Store highlights better what’s new in updates, fell more easily with the old design. The big green dot next to the black text draws attention to that part of the screen. Otherwise, we find the same information (notes, number of downloads, category, etc.), but organized and presented differently.

Note that this new design is gradually introduced by Google. It has already been tested with several user samples and has just arrived on many other devices. But not everyone is impressed yet. Depending on your situation, therefore, you may have benefited from the new design for a while, received it recently, or are still waiting. To see how does the new design take a breakBelow is a before/after made by Android Police.
