Google Messages is a danger to your autonomy
Google Messages lets you use your camera directly in the app to send a picture or video to a contact. However, in some cases, it is possible for your APN to still be active even if you no longer use it. Does not record video or take photos, but it is still present in the background. So there is no privacy concern, that’s it.
However, this is inconvenient as it consumes a lot of battery. In Android 12 there is a small icon in the upper right corner of the screen that tells us whether the camera is active or not (shown here), but in previous versions the user does not know that the camera is working. If you notice this error (only affects a handful of users)Just close the application via task manager. The camera should also turn off. If you are not using this feature, there is another solution: You should disable the permission from the settings. To do this, you must first go to system settings, then Applications, and remove the camera permission given to Google Messages.
