Google Maps: real-time notifications to guide you on your public transport journeys!
Public transport users will not be left out. According to Techcrunch, Google will launch soon an update this will allow Google Maps to better accompany you during your journeys. The application notifies you in real time thanks to the notification system when you need to get off the bus or train depending on your destination. This is great news for the most distracted users. Who never forgets to get off the bus, train or subway on an unusual journey in a foreign city?
This new mode will work like the “car” mode: once you’ve found your route, just hit the “Start” button and the Google Maps guidance system will guide you in real time. In addition to guiding you left, right or in the right direction, the app will remind you shortly before you need to get off the bus or train. All of this obviously works thanks to geolocation. We hope Google Maps doesn’t forget to warn you in case of a whimsical network…
