You will also notice that YouTube and YouTube Music have a dark mode. both in native apps and web apps, accessible via a browser. And that will soon be the case with Google Search as well. A few days ago, we reported in our columns that if you search from Chrome on Android, it is now compatible with dark mode. The same will soon apply to calls made from a PC.

After Android, PC will finally take advantage of Search’s dark mode

Several users also experienced dark interface of Google Search from a computer browser. The time this mod was available was quite short, which indicates that this is a testing phase to check its stability. Interestingly, this viewing option was not reserved for Chrome, as some users reported it.also works with firefox.

It’s hard to know if the test is definitive. No bugs were reported by unconscious testers. If no issues have been reported, it’s very likely that Google will be able to quickly and precisely implement the dark mode in its search engine. The interest will not be just aesthetic.
