Google Assistant: update on Android, here is the list of new features

A new Google Assistant update is rolling out. The interface is evolving to become more user-friendly and facilitate interactions that are both voice and touch. Google gives as an example control of connected objects such as speakers that require managing a slider to increase or decrease the volume. The search giant adapts to user habits.

It is not easy to see the changes at first glance, white still dominates that much. But the layout of the cards is more efficient than before. Google provides a list describing the main changes made as part of this new update:

• Larger visuals that are easier to watch
• New controls and sliders to manage your smart devices.
• Use the dials to adjust the lights or the sliders to adjust the volume of your home speaker
• Interactive messaging interface that lets you edit a voice-dictated message you’ve created with Assistant
• Open Google Assistant and swipe up to view your presentation feed.
• Developers now have tools for using the device’s touchscreen in Assistant. Starbucks has thumbnails of its own menu, Food Network has larger images in its recipes, and FitStar shows workouts with GIFs.

The rollout of this new update is ongoing and may take several days. We have not yet been entitled to this revision on our part, but it will not take long.
