Gmail App on Android brings two new features with the latest update bearing version number 2023.11.12. The first is backward predictive navigation without needing to enable predictive navigation in developer options. Other functionality It will make it easier to unsubscribe from those sending promotional emails.
It should be relatively easy to unsubscribe from emails that are considered spam, as most automated email lists already have a button at the bottom that allows you to click and confirm that you no longer wish to receive emails. But if you’re trying to unsubscribe a lot, this can quickly become tedious. Therefore, Google planned to make this process even easier and larger than before with a special button.
In the new update of the Gmail application, there is an unsubscribe button on the right side of the sender address. The latter works exactly the same as the web version and therefore allows you to quickly unsubscribe from emails you no longer wish to receive. Better, Google made it clearly visible by increasing its size so you can’t miss it.
For now this new button is only available for certain usersand we don’t know when it will be available to everyone. As always, we’ll probably have to wait a few more weeks to see Gmail on Android come to its stable version. Meanwhile, Google is already planning another big change: simplifying emailing, inspired by WhatsApp.
