Gmail is changing its interface: here’s the full list of new features

Google decided to update the famous webmail, we recommend it to you discovering the innovations introduced by the search giant. The new Gmail interface is already available to everyone and comes with very attractive new features that will make life easier for users. The transition to this new design is not mandatory for the time being. However, starting October 2018, all Gmail accounts will switch to it. You should see the new webmail as a real compromise between them. “old Gmail” and Google Inbox, another email app from Google, this new iteration of webmail is now available. All users of the free version as well as the paid version have the opportunity to switch to this new interface, which offers many new features.

Gmail got a new design

The left part of the webmail has its various boxes, labels, etc. It shows a new sidebar that can be deployed or hidden to access. On the right we find new shortcut items that allow access to certain functions, such as: Installation of Keep, Organizer or other modules Add-ons compatible with Gmail. We also noticed that it is possible to access attachments without having to open a particular email. This is a significant time saver and is also the keyword for this redesign.

The new design is perfectly functional and adapts to the screen. If you minimize the webmail window, you will notice that certain functions are lost, such as those that provide faster access to PCs. With the new design, Gmail took the opportunity to add new features or improve some.

Gmail: here are the new features introduced in this update

Gmail has a number of features that make life easier for all users. The usability of the new interface is accompanied by new features, here is the list:

• snooze option : With this feature, you can set aside reading an email to continue later. Gmail will call you to order at the right time! In fact, it consists of moving the email to the top of the list at the time you choose.

• Smart Answers : this is just an automatic reply or reply suggestion system, as our smartphones are already equipped with virtual keyboards. Gmail will sort of write our emails for us. This feature does not appear to be available to us yet.

• Gmail’s new offline mode: as the name suggests, this option lets you check some of your emails without being connected to an internet network. To achieve this, Gmail will store these emails in your browser’s cache.

• Gmail also offers easier integration with Google Calendar
• Integrate with Gmail and other Google services to pay with PayPal

• Confidential mode in Gmail makes it possible to have “self-destructing emails” whenever the sender wishes.
