One word came out of speakers’ mouths several times at the last Google I/O conference: AI. It is no longer a secret that artificial intelligence is now the number one challenge for major players in the industry. But Google is slightly behind Microsoft, which is rushing to integrate ChatGPT into Bing and its other tools. Today it is the Mountain View company’s turn to present other artificial intelligence solutions.
Among the many applications planned by the manufacturer, we find in particular the possibility of automatic writing of emails, more precisely, the fact that they are done by Google’s artificial intelligence Bard. Currently, this option is still in beta and reserved for Workspace package subscribers. If that’s your situation, you can ask Bard today to write an email to arrange a meeting or answer this question from a colleague. Here’s how.
How to write emails automatically in Gmail?
To get started, you’ll need to make sure you’re participating in the Worsplace Labs program. If that’s not your case, here’s how to proceed:
- Open Google Chrome
- Sign in Google account
- Meeting date this link
- Fill out the form then wait for Google’s approval
When you join the program, you can test all new features related to artificial intelligence. From then on you can go to Gmail to automatically compose a message:
- Click the button New message
- In the new window, click help me write
- Explain the message you want to write to Bard
- Provide as much detail as you want, such as what elements you will include and what tone you want
- After the message is written, you can click on it. Refine the message shorten, on the contrary, lengthen or change the expression
- As soon as the result suits you, all you have to do is click. Stingthen send the email
