The postal service is once again evolving on a mobile platform and launching a very simple service: the possibility to send money to loved ones via attachment. The money transfer is done through the Google Wallet service.
And the biggest strength of this service is that Google does not charge any fees: sending and receiving money is completely free. This feature is already available in the web version of Gmail, but is currently limited to users in the US and UK.
Such a feature may seem silly as cabbage, but it can quickly save lives in the evening. Imagine a friend offering you a drink because you don’t have cash on you: a simple email can solve the problem!
So let’s hope the feature arrives in France, where “Wallet” is currently limited to payments in the Play Store. As extensions reach Gmail, making the app closer to the pros than ever before, Google can finally unblock these valves worldwide.
