We’ve seen a number of new updates roll out, and we’ve seen a few new release details arrive for owners of existing Galaxy Note flagships. Galaxy Note 4 Lollipop Update Coming to Steam
Now that the T-Mobile Galaxy Note 4 Lollipop update is out and available, the Galaxy Note 4 Lollipop release in the United States is complete. AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, US Cellular, and Verizon have released updates for the Galaxy Note 4.

Owners of international Galaxy Note 4 models will want to pay attention to carrier-specific information. Samsung tends to keep a low profile during its launches and certain information usually comes from the carriers themselves.
Galaxy Note Edge Lollipop Update Does the Same
The Samsung Galaxy Note Edge Lollipop update got off to an extremely slow start but over time the update picked up pace and is now in line with Samsung’s Galaxy Note 4 Lollipop release.
In the United States, the Galaxy Note Edge Lollipop update is available to AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, and US Cellular users. Samsung also put a lot of pressure on Galaxy Note Edge users outside of the United States.

Australian operator Vodafone said that tests on both updates failed and are now waiting for a new update from Samsung. It’s unclear how long this will take, and it could take weeks for these two updates to become available. Vodafone isn’t the first carrier to encounter issues and won’t be the last, so Galaxy Note 4 and Note Edge users will need to be patient as Samsung sorts out the mess.
Galaxy Note 4 Lollipop Issues & Bug Fixes
Our experience with the Galaxy Note 4 Lollipop update has been great, but that doesn’t mean it’s good for everyone.

It’s encouraging to see Samsung roll out bug fix updates for devices like the Galaxy S4. This means we may see it make bug fixes for the Galaxy Note 4 and Galaxy Note Edge in the future.

Android 5.1 Lollipop
Samsung is working on Android 5.1 Lollipop update. The update has been almost confirmed for the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge, and will likely come to devices like the Galaxy Note 4 as well. While not confirmed for the Galaxy Note 4 or Galaxy Note Edge, it’s an update to watch out for.
It is likely to come with bug fixes for Lollipop issues. More importantly, Samsung appears to be working on a Guest Mode feature that will allow Galaxy users to create several unique profiles. This is important for anyone who shares their phone with their children, family members or friends and coworkers.
It’s unclear when Samsung plans to roll out the update, but we recommend keeping an eye on the details as we head towards summer.
