And if we’re talking about this version, it’s because it finally brings a feature that was missing until now in the smartphone version of the browser: the CSS Stylo rendering engine, which has been introduced by desktop versions of Firefox since version 57.

Firefox is one of the oldest browsers on the web, built around the Gecko rendering engine that was first created for Netscape in 1997. From the very beginning, it includes tools, extensions and themes to improve the user experience. First of all, it is 100% open source and owned by a non-profit foundation. Advantages over the competition, especially the world’s #1 browser: Chrome.
Despite its advantages, the use of Firefox has been declining for several years, mainly due to its speed well below Chrome. Firefox 57 introduced a new, faster “Pen” rendering engine inspired by both Chrome and Project Servo.
