Meta filed a federal lawsuit in California court. Meta said the volume of these phishing attacks has increased since March 2021 and has since suspended thousands of URLs to phishing sites. The phishing scheme allegedly involved the creation of multiple data 39,000 websites imitating the login pages of all American company social networks. these sites then persuade victims to enter sensitive informationsuch as passwords and email addresses, but these are of course not official company sites.
