On June 17, Google rolled out beta 1.5 of Android 11 to compatible smartphones. This is a minor update that only aims to fix the biggest bugs that were created by the first public beta. The Mountain View company therefore did not integrate any new features into this version.

First, Google started by fixing the problem error that causes the smartphone to restart When the user uses navigation gestures to switch applications while changing the orientation of the terminal.
Secondly, beta 1.5 also brings fixes Problems encountered with Google Pay when making payments while communicating. Many witnesses claimed that the beta rendered the mobile payment system completely unusable.
This new beta update also fixes an issue affecting the Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL where users will now be able to activate a SIM card on their smartphone even if an eSIM card was configured in the first place.
Finally beta fixes A problem with Bluetooth. Concretely, users will no longer encounter issues pairing, resetting or unpairing accessories such as watches running Wear OS.
However, Google still warns on its website that some errors may occur after installing Android 11. Connection issues with smartphones connected via Android Auto. In some cases, the sound will come out of the phone’s speakers instead of the vehicle’s speakers. Google is committed to fixing these bugs in a future update.
