Google has gotten us used to a well-established cycle over the years: the latest version of Android is released at the same time, or nearly so, as the latest generation of Pixel smartphones. But in 2024, the Mountain View company shook up our habits by introducing the Pixel 9 in August, while Android 15 is still in testing. - Some devices took a long time to wake up.
- A transparent gray bar appeared while using the camera.
- There was an issue with the camera that was causing low frame rates.
- The camera app stopped working when changing zoom values.
- The camera saturation was wrong.
- The user interface was flickering.
- YouTube app stopped working under certain conditions.
Despite their efforts, Google is still far from putting an end to all concerns and many of them continue to be marked as unresolved in Android’s public tracker.
