This is important news in the hacking world. The talented, slightly clever Vladikoff has published a find that lets you run native Android apps on a Windows, MacOS or Linux system. The only requirement is to have Google Chrome on your computer, as the cheat uses extensions of the famous browser.
This feat, which was made possible after the recent discovery of the release of Android apps under Chrome OS, is developing at a rapid pace and now considered functional in any Google Chrome browser regardless of the operating system used. However, the method made public is not the easiest to implement.
Basically, in order to do this, you need to get the app in the form of an .APK file and then use it. a script that will take care of converting said Android app to a Chrome-like extension. The extension thus obtained will need to be moved to the browser folder and then extracted. Once this is done you should also make sure to enable Chrome’s developer mode and then manually install the modified extension. And bingo must begin before your confused eyes.
But it is not an exact science and not all android apps are functional right now. But the gimmick has seen many improvements within hours. The most amazing? While initially only one application could be launched this way, we can now launch up to four applications at the same time. Beside the bugs, keep in mind that the behavior of apps executed this way is pretty random, sometimes with frequent crashes.
In every situation,an encouraging sign that aims to break the boundaries between applications in the mobile world and applications in the PC world in the broadest possible sense. It was already possible to officially adapt a Chrome app for use on iOS and Android, but now we’re gearing up with this hack.
