Android 11: First beta finally out, how to install it

There is Two ways to install the first public beta of Android 11. You can join the beta program created by Google or recover the operating system firmware manually. We recommend that you choose the first option, which is much simpler.

• Accept Google’s Terms of Service
• Go to: Settings from your smartphone

• To choose System update
• The Android 11 update should be available automatically. If not, click Check for available updatesIf nothing appears, we recommend restarting your smartphone to fix possible errors.
• Once this is done, your smartphone will reboot and Android 11 will be installed.

For the most experienced users, you can also install the update manually if you’re not offered the Google beta program. The company actually limits the number of users who are eligible for the update.

• Download and install ADB and Fastboot tools for your computer
• Go official Google website with your computer
• Download the Android 11 installation image for your smartphone. Unzip or unzip the file.
• Enable Developer Options in your smartphone menus
• Enable USB debugging on your smartphone
• Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Android\android-sdk\ on your PC and copy all the files from the zipped archive to the platform-tools folder.

How to revert to a stable version of Android?

If you’re encountering a lot of bugs after installing the Android 11 beta, you may want to backtrack and revert to a stable version of Android. Fortunately, it’s possible. Here’s how:

• Come back Page dedicated to the beta program on the Google website
• Go to your available devices
• Deactivate the smartphone on which you installed the beta version
• Go to Settings on your smartphone
• Go to System
• Click on Advanced Preferences
• Select System Update
• An update will allow you to revert to the version of Android you had installed
