Google has released the monthly Android 10 update for Pixel devices and some users are experiencing issues with the company’s latest firmware.
While most people will want to install August Android 10 right now or in the near future, others may want to step back and wait a bit.

Google was able to fix early shutdown issues affecting the Nexus 6P, but it’s unclear when a fix will arrive for Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL users.

what’s next
We haven’t heard anything about Android 10.1 yet. And given that Google failed to release Android 9.1 Pie and Android 11 is making progress, we probably won’t get a major Android 10 update in 2020.
The only Android 10 updates on our radar right now are Google’s monthly updates. These updates are always new security patches and sometimes they bring bug patches.
However, the future of Android 10 is a bit dark, as Android 11 is scheduled to arrive soon. While Google may certainly release a new version of Android 10 in early September, the company may choose to go straight to Android 11. Time will show that.
The company has released an Android 11 beta and is currently available to Pixel 2, Pixel 2 XL, Pixel 3, Pixel 3 XL, Pixel 4, and Pixel 4 XL users.
The Android 11 update brings a number of changes and is worth a look if you a) want to try new features and/or b) are dealing with major issues with Android 10.
Pre-release software is often fraught with issues, but it’s still worth a try if your device is really struggling with Android 10.
