6 Reasons to Wait for Pixel 4a & 4 Reasons Not to Wait

Google’s latest Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL are good phones with a lot to offer, but some of you might be better off waiting for the cheaper Pixel 4a that will hit the market in the coming months, and here’s why.

The Pixel 4 isn’t bad, but there are only marginal changes and some downright bad decisions (battery life and storage) that make waiting for the next Pixel not only a good idea, but a great idea as well. Also, Pixel phones currently have a lot of competition between the Galaxy S20 and the upcoming OnePlus 8 Pro.

Obviously waiting for the Pixel 5 would be ideal, but you might be better off with the more affordable Pixel 4a in the coming months. In early 2019, Google surprised everyone with the Pixel 3a, a budget model of its flagship Pixel 3. With this in mind, several new leaks reveals an impressive budget Pixel 4a is coming in 2020.

New leak shows an exciting $399 price tag

Google Pixel 4a Rumors and Speculation (2020)

Given the poor reviews and some early issues with the Pixel 4, and the fact that we got the 3a last year, we’re pretty confident that Google will refresh its smartphone in March or April 2020. We saw leaked photos last month. , videos, features and now we have the picture above Evleaks on Twitter. What we do not know is whether they will launch two models again this year or just one. Rumors suggest that only one device is coming. Its photos justify the design, the cameras, and the great price of $399.

As 2020 progresses and more phones arrive, we expect to see much more. Pixel 4a rumors to appear. Little information about possible changes, upgrades or differences while keeping the price low. We’re already seeing leaks, so more information is just around the corner if not the release itself. This phone will get you through to the Pixel 5 later this year.

As expected, we already have our first Google Pixel 4a leak and full video review, before the phone is official or announced by Google. The video was quickly removed by YouTube, but it confirms all the information we’ve heard so far. So, here’s another leak since the video was gone.

6 Reasons to Wait for Pixel 4a & 4 Reasons Not to Wait 2

Google continues to make big strides with every upgrade, and every phone is far better than the previous generation. This also applies to the Pixel 3a earlier this year. The only “downsides” to the affordable Pixel 3 were that Google removed the IP68 water-resistance rating, cut back on wireless charging, and made the phone out of plastic, which is obviously more durable and less fragile than glass. So is this really a trade off?

In a way, the Pixel 3a didn’t seem like a drop off, but more of a side class for those who wanted a different Google experience without spending $900. It was a very affordable alternative that many people bought and it is. They even offered a slightly larger Pixel 3a XL for $499, which was also very good. That said, a brand new rumor It shows we’ll only get one Pixel 4a this year and no XL variant.

While we haven’t heard much about a Pixel 4a yet, buyers will be pretty good if it follows the same path as the Google Pixel 3a. A phone with and hopefully better battery life than the Pixel 4, many of the same useful features, maybe a better screen and 5G supports them all while costing far less money. Seems like a win-win, right? With all that said, here’s what we want to see from a 4a and a few reasons why you should or shouldn’t wait for the Pixel 4a.
