Samsung’s new Galaxy Note 7 has a bigger battery than any Note ever released, but that doesn’t mean owners won’t want a few extra chargers. Here, we’ve put together a collection of the five best car chargers for the Galaxy Note 7; All of these feature fast charging technology so owners can juice up on the go.
With its large 5.7-inch screen, double the storage, a micro SD slot for storage expansion, and water resistance, the new Note 7 has a lot to do. Buyers will need some cases, accessories and of course chargers after receiving it.
Fast, Turbo or Adaptive Fast charging are names companies use to describe the latest battery technology. It provides safe charging of phones from 0-50% in less than 25 minutes. It’s extremely useful and users will want to make sure the car charger they purchase supports it. Ours below is fast charging, and many come with a USB Type-C cable that fits into the new charging port on the bottom of the Note 7.
Those who choose to purchase one of the many fast car chargers we’ve outlined below will enjoy the same fast charging speeds as they do at home with the wall outlet that comes out of the box while driving in the car. This gives owners enough juice for one night, toppings after work and more.
The Samsung Note 7 has a new USB Type-C port on the bottom that is reversible and can plug in either way, but it won’t work with older micro-USB cables. So you’ll probably need multiple new cables for rooms in the house and car, and possibly a new car charger as well. Even those with a compatible car charger will want to make sure they have a “fast car charger” for the best experience.
Unfortunately, Samsung did not add the latest Quick Charge 3.0 technology to the Note 7, which can charge up to 80% in 35 minutes. Instead, it works with Quick Charge 2.0 technology, which promises a full charge from 0-50% in 25 minutes or 0-100% in 85 minutes. It’s still faster than most phones and something every owner should know and use.
Don’t buy a cheap car charger from a gas station or use some spare cables lying around because the experience won’t be as good or nearly as fast. Instead, check out these five great fast car chargers we’ve outlined below. They all use Fast Charge technology and are powered by the new USB Type-C charging port.
