10 Things To Do Before Installing The Galaxy Tab Oreo Update

The Samsung Galaxy Tab Android Oreo distribution has begun and there are some things you need to do before the Android 8.0 Oreo update arrives.

Samsung promised a Galaxy Tab Oreo update in the first half of the year, and the company has delivered on that promise. Android 8.0 Oreo and Samsung Experience 9.0 UI are officially available, but rollout is limited to the Galaxy Tab S3, with more updates planned for the future.

The Galaxy Tab Oreo update is rolling out to Galaxy Tab S3 users with SM-T820 and SM-T825 in Europe. If you’re not sure which model you have, go to your device’s settings and look under About. The update is also rolling out in the United States.

The update is currently limited, but we expect it to be released for more Galaxy Tab S3s and other Galaxy tablets in the coming weeks.

As expected, the Galaxy Tab Oreo update is a pretty big upgrade that brings new features, tweaks, improvements and patches to the Galaxy Tab S3. It’s still early, but we also expect Samsung to bring a host of issues to its tablets.

Samsung and its partners put the Android Oreo update behind the scenes by testing it, but the problems slipped into the final version of the software. It’s hard to predict what issues you will encounter when migrating your device from Nougat to Oreo, so you want to be prepared.

In this guide, we will help you prepare your Galaxy tablet for Android Oreo update. A little preparation will help you avoid problems, so be sure to take a few minutes to prepare yourself.
