The Brazilian studio 2nibble surprises the electronic games market by presenting its new project: the game ‘Unpunished’.
The title, still in the process of collective fundraising through the Apoia.se platform, seeks to raise RS 40 thousand and promises to transport players to a fictional beach town, inspired by Balneário Camboriú, Santa Catarina.
Expectations for ‘Impunes’
The development team informs that the game will be set in a fictional city called Canário, located in the state of Santa Camila, heavily inspired by the municipalities of Balneário Camboriú and Camboriú in Santa Catarina.
The central idea is to deliver a rich lore that expands throughout the region and extends to other Brazilian states and countries.
O gameplay proposed by ‘Impunes’ will include two distinct modes: Arcade mode, similar to ‘GTA 5’, in which the weapons are infinite and the police quickly forget the player’s location.
And the Roleplay mode, which seeks deeper realism, in which weapons have loading limits and cars require gasoline, similar to what is found in ‘Red Dead Redemption 2’.
Highly qualified team behind ‘Impunes’
The game is being developed by a team in which each member brings unique expertise to the table.
In total, there are four developers, including Valdir Júnior, better known as Junior_Djjr, owner of the MixMods community and main programmer of the game.
Other team members include Chrystian Farias, who has experience with Unity Engine and serves as a senior programmer at a Microsoft subsidiary.
John Zeneric, a deaf-mute Canadian specialized in modeling and texturing, with experience in ‘GTA’ modding. Lameque Meck, responsible for modeling and design of the city.
Tribute to Brazilian football
One of the attractions that promises to capture the attention of players is the presence of parodies of Brazilian football teams, with the names and symbols changed to avoid legal conflicts.

The expectation is that the project will add interesting new elements to the ‘GTA’ formula and provide players with a unique vision of the South of Brazil.
It is worth mentioning that it is not the first Brazilian project inspired by ‘GTA’, since the game ‘171’, also produced nationally, follows a similar proposal.
‘Impunes’ is yet another example of the creative potential of developers Brazilians and how they can use classic references to create unique and original gaming experiences.
