E-Constat Auto: make your accident report with your smartphone!

We told you about this a few months ago, now it’s official. From December 1, you will no longer have to search for your paper report. At least if you have an Android or iOS smartphone.

Called e-Constat Auto, the app allows you to complete your report from your smartphone in eight steps. On paper, it’s a formality that’s often long and tedious, turning into a nightmare in case of bad weather.

E-Constat Auto therefore makes it possible to put an end to this whole procedure, because it will be possible thanks to this application. pre-fill personal information, take photos of the boiler, Identify the geographic location of the crash site and help him make the drawing. In case of an accident, only 8 steps will be required to edit the report :

• Enter your insurer’s name and vehicle registration number
• Enter personal information
• Answer the multiple choice survey offered by the app to find out the conditions of the win
• Editing a draft

• Preview document as PDF with possible changes
• Add your signature with your finger
• Send document (un SMS confirmation that the document has been sent to the insurer will be sent later)

Admittedly, this procedure is still simpler than the one traditionally used. The app will therefore be available on the Google Play Store from December 1st. On the App Store for Android users and for the iOS version. No availability date has been reported for a possible Windows Phone release at this time.
