Everyone will see this news as they want, but Google intends to put ads on the Google Play Store. A test program is currently underway to try the solution of sponsored applications. It’s simple, a developer or app development company will pay to be at the top of the list in a matching search.
First, what Google is highlighting with this innovation is that any developer can highlight the app. Basically, the top of the list during a call corresponds only to the most popular applications, which is sometimes difficult for an independent person to locate. This solution would allow them to gain popularity by paying Google a certain amount of money.
This is not an unknown app, the Mountain View giant even uses old codes already used in another service. Indeed, these sponsored apps reminiscent of sponsored links Those at the top of the list in a Google search. Some of you will see this as a chance for developers and some of you will prefer to report an app to earn money.
Either way, you’ll be right, but as you can see from the GIF below, sponsored apps are far from intrusive and therefore the user experience in the Play Store will hardly change. Only the first app you see during a search will be stamped as Pub (Normally, as the English version has Name) and so may not be the most popular app anymore.

Google also states that around $7 billion was donated to developers in 2014, so there’s enough money to monetize them. We see ads everywhere and more and more, but it remains a viable means of financing to keep services free. What do you think about this decision of Google? Want to see these sponsored apps?
