More and more people are getting into PC or console video game streaming, whether it’s YouTube or Twitch, so it’s only natural that smartphone manufacturers would like to offer this possibility to their fans as well. Sony has decided to embark on the adventure by releasing its own streaming app for mobile games.

After Samsung released Game Recorder+, which lets you record your game sequences, Sony took the gamble of offering streaming to users of their devices. Live screen streaming, called Sober the app is of course reserved for Sony smartphonesand currently compatible with the latest models such as Xperia Z3+, Xperia Z4, Xperia Z4v and Xperia Z4 Tablet.
Also, Sony didn’t just include a game streaming feature in its app. Indeed, thanks to Live screen streaming, you will be able to: Stream to YouTube or Twitch Share with the world all the manipulations you do on your Xperia smartphone and thus everything that happens on your screen. It is also possible to save the video locally for later uploading.

As with similar apps for PC and consoles, it’s possible to view your head, activate the microphone, and even get an overview of audience numbers and messages from them, using the phone’s front camera.
