Knowing where to find all of the Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order Force powers, abilities and upgrades is more important than ever. This is because the open world nature of the game means you can find things in different layouts. This can affect your ability to reach other things. So your choices can really affect your progress, but only if you know what you’re looking for.

Abilities like force push, wall run, double jump change how you access different areas, while upgrading for both Cal and BD-1 gives you more options and makes it easier to survive or do certain things. You’ll eventually find all of this as you play, the game eventually takes you to everything, but you can get everything sooner if you know where to go. Wall Run

This is an early skill and you can’t leave Bogano without grabbing it. You will find it in the Underground Bunker area through a handprint in a narrow room that will activate Cal’s memory to relearn the power.

When you’ve made the choice to go to Zeffo or Dathomir, choose Dathomir, Darth Maul’s terrifying red homeland, to unlock the Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order double-bladed lightsaber. Once there, proceed through Brother’s Bastion, meet the Nightsister, and you’ll eventually be led to a platform with a cloaked muttering man. Turn around and head down to find your way to the customization bench and this early upgrade.

Alternatively, you can get this upgrade later in the story if you return to Bogano with the Force Push and BD-1’s Scomp Link and explore the Abandoned Workshop to the fullest. If not, you’ll get it in Kashyyyk just before a big boss fight. No spoilers here!

Forced Push

In Zeffo, you’ll head to Eilram’s Tomb, the first tomb in an early area where you’ll find a glowing blue door. Click the right stick to activate Cal’s memory and unlock this power ability. This ability is unmissable, so keep playing throughout the campaign.

Scope Connection

With Force Push in reserve, head back to the Soldier-lined Weathered Monument area. Your minimap should have a highlighted door that you can open with Force Push. Move in a circular motion through this area and you’ll find a bench where you can upgrade the BD-1 with the Star wars Jedi Fallen Order Scomp link so it can slice or break doors and chests.

From the starting point of Kashyyyk, you will hit a blockade with a broken terminal, and the game will lead you to a room with two zip lines. Interact with the workbench in this room to receive Overcharge, an unmissable ability that allows the BD-1 to interact with terminals, switches, doors and zip lines.

Slice: Security Droid

At the Imperial Refinery in Kashyyk, you will free the Wookie minions and find yourself outside with a group of rebels. At the far end of the platform you will see two vines that lead you to the other side where there is a workbench you can use to achieve this missable ability.

Forced Pull

After freeing the Wookiees in Kashyyyk, you will return to Zeffo for the third and final apocalyptic tomb! In the Tomb of Miktrull, you’ll have to solve a few puzzles before you’re forced to use your Force Draw ability to save Cal’s lightsaber from falling. This will refresh Cal’s memory and unlock the ability you shouldn’t miss.

Motorized Zipline

With the Overcharge ability, you can now bypass the devastated terminal and move to the Imperial Dig Site in Zeffo, where you’ll encounter a boss and some story kicks. Keep moving forward in this area until you reach a room where the two security droids are fighting. Beat them (or turn them against each other if you have the Slice Security Droid ability) and use the order they block to unlock this ability.

Slice: Probe Droid

As the last Zeffo returns from his tomb, you’ll have to wall-run along some red structures in the Imperial Headquarters to get back to Mantis while the Second Sister taunts you. After swinging from two vines and clearing a platform with stormtroopers, use the nearby bench to unlock a BD-1 upgrade that will allow you to slice Probe Droids.

Returning to Kashyyyk for the second visit, you’ll proceed to a watery area where Mari Kosan, Tarfful, and Choyyssyk will intercept Cal and give him underwater breathing to help him reach the Shadowlands. You need it to move forward, so don’t worry about missing it.

Double jump (Jedi jump)

Keep playing until you start helping a huge dinosaur/bird creature that will guide you on your way to an ancient tree on your second visit to still Kashyyyk. In an area where you jump among green plants, the movement will jog Cal’s memory and he will learn the double jump called the Jedi Leap.

Climbing Claws

Very late in the game in Dathomir, you will fight a giant bat monster in a cave. After the first phase of the battle, you’ll need to nick these unmissable climbing claws of a fallen Nightbrother to climb out of his lair.

Extra lightsaber colors and Split Saber

In the final act of Fallen Order, Cal will destroy his trusty blade, so you’ll have to deviate to Ilum to fix it. Wander through the icy caves to find a stall where you can get a new kyber crystal, choose your sword color and unlock a new slit sword to use in battle.
