How to Hard Reset myTouch 4G

This guide will show you how to perform a data reset on your myTouch 4G. This phone is made by HTC and runs Android. There are 2 methods that I will cover here on how to do a factory data reset.

1. Go to settings.
2. Find and select SD card and Phone Storage.
3. Tap Factory Data Reset
4. Then click on Reset Phone
5. Enjoy.

1. Turn off the phone.
2. Remove the battery for a few seconds.
3. Now turn on myTouch 4G while holding the volume down button.
4. You will enter a mode that presents you with a menu. Select Factory reset using the volume button.
5. When factory reset is highlighted, press the power button to select and run this option.
6. That’s it, once the reset is done you’re done.
