The video game world has rarely seen such a soap opera. But that was before the FTC filed a formal complaint against the Redmond firm for blocking the takeover of Activision-Blizzard. The boss of Microsoft’s gaming division continues by arguing that the two companies have very different visions of the industry, pointing out specifically that Sony refused to offer all of its games on PC or even PlayStation Plus during their debut day. “The world’s largest console maker is contesting the only franchise we’ve said will continue to be distributed on the platform”He concludes that Call of Duty will not be a privilege, without missing the opportunity to hammer it once again.
