Gmail: New interface is available, how to test it now?

Google announced that the distribution of the new Gmail interface continues all over the world. This means that the option to switch to the new interface will soon be available in your account – if not yet. We were able to make the change ourselves, so some users are already affected.

• Go to your Gmail inbox
• Click gear wheel top right

• choose Try the new Gmail
• Depending on your preferences, choose from three types of screens offered: Default, Normal, and Compact

Google notes that some new functionality will still be unavailable before: “next weeks”. It is hoped that at least self-destructing emails will be available – although we tested it on several gmail accounts, we have not yet succeeded in activating the new interface. This will likely be possible in the next few hours. In addition to expiration emails, the new interface simplifies the daily use of the mailbox.
