With rumors swirling about what to expect, this week popular leakster Evan Blass, also known as @Evleaks, learned some exciting new details from “company-informed” sources. So although this information is not 100% accurate, it comes from a relatively reliable source.

These sources claim that the Galaxy S7 will have a 5.1-inch display, but the Galaxy S7 Plus was not mentioned. They continue to confirm other reports of the 5.5-inch Galaxy S7 Edge. The best part, however, is the micro SD slot, which makes a comeback with both phones supporting SD cards of up to 200GB. Next, he states that the Galaxy S7 may have a large 3,000mAh battery, and the 5.5-inch Galaxy S7 Edge will come with a 3,600mAh battery. For comparison, the Galaxy S6 is only 2,550 mAh, which was a big complaint by most owners. The battery will still not be removable.

These new sources suggest that Samsung will actually downgrade the camera from 16 megapixels to just 12 megapixels. But as we all know, megapixels and resolution are not everything. It will use Samsung’s new BRITECELL camera technology with a larger sensor and fast f/1.7 aperture. This means an extremely fast shutter speed for great low-light photos, and less blur from hand-shake for clear and great photos or videos.
The result here is that instead of having a huge camera curb like every smartphone released in 2015, the back of the Galaxy S7 will be completely flush. This can also help free up space to add a larger battery.
