Android Messages on PC, we’ve been hearing tangibly since February 2018. The situation was finally resolved with the distribution of the now functional web client. We warned you earlier that the platform has been online for a few days now, it is now possible for any user to use it by connecting the Android Messages app on your smartphone to the web client.
Android Messages reaches PC via a web client
This way we can write, send and receive SMS directly from his PC via Android Messages. So you don’t have to switch between smartphone and computer, everything can be done from the same place. The system is similar to what other messaging apps like WhatsApp offer (in this case, the Opera browser even offers a default WhatsApp tab in the left menu bar). The user only needs to go to the website that displays a QR Code. To use your account on the web, simply scan it with the smartphone’s Android Messages app. Discussions and media are also available here.
Here is the procedure to follow to take advantage of it, detailed step by step:
- meeting day Android Messages web client
- open app Android Messages from your smartphone
- press menu more options carried out by three small vertical dots
- To choose Posts for the web
- press on Scan QR Code
- The camera pops up, you can Scan QR Code displayed on the web page with your smartphone.

And here it is already finished! Now you can write and read text messages on your computer and soon you won’t be able to do without it, which is very practical. Here you can find a first look at the Android Messages interface on PC.
