Galaxy S7 Release Rumors Take Another Direction

Samsung Galaxy S7 rumors are at an all-time high and they’re not slowing down anytime soon. In fact, even more Galaxy S7 news and leaks have surfaced this week, and it’s heading in a different direction. Proposing the launch of only two phones instead of three or even four phones. Here is the latest information.

In April of last year, the Galaxy S6 was launched after being announced at Mobile World Congress. Samsung has announced the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge. Both have the same screen size, the same specs, but one had a curved screen. We hear that something different is going to happen this year.

Rumors have been back and forth for months, and it actually started in September. We suggest we’ll see four smartphone announcements in February, followed by three, and now it’s down to just two. At the beginning of January, sources shared some information. important details He commented further on the Galaxy S7 and its release date, claiming they were 100% confirmed today. So what exactly is “confirmed”?

It looks like all the reports and rumors about the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge are somewhat true and Samsung will only release two phones. Not three, not four. There will be no Galaxy S6 Edge+ and Galaxy S7 Plus with a large 6-inch screen.

According to Evan, Samsung plans to launch a regular 5.1-inch Galaxy S7 with a very similar overall look and feel to last year, and we’ve been hearing about it over and over. It will have a micro SD card, be IP67 dust and water resistant, have a 12-megapixel camera that will be better than last year, which leaves room for a larger 3,000mAh battery. However, Samsung will not launch a regular Galaxy S7 Edge with the same screen size as it did in 2015.

Instead, Samsung will reportedly launch the regular 5.1-inch Galaxy S7, followed by the 5.5-inch Galaxy S7 Edge. It may or may not have the “Plus” brand, which may vary by region. At least there won’t be a 5.1-inch Edge model and the larger 5.7-inch Edge model just yet. The larger screen size will likely be reserved for the Galaxy Note 6 in the fall, which is where we might see another Edge+ model like Samsung did with the Galaxy S6 Edge+ in August 2015.

This sounds very similar to many of the reports we’ve heard over the past few weeks, but it’s also a little different. As we’ve heard, it can be a regular little Edge, a larger Edge, a Galaxy S7 Plus and all sorts of crazy stuff. Samsung does not want to flood the market and is saving the Galaxy S7 name for two flagship smartphones, one with a curved screen and the other without. The Galaxy S7 could boast a pressure-sensitive display to rival Apple’s 3D Touch, as reported by the Wall Street Journal, and many other impressive features we’ve outlined above.

If all this is true, Samsung may be ready for another successful launch. It builds on the premium and award-winning design introduced last year, while improving everything else and adding more features to win back some fans who were left with many shortcomings after the Galaxy S6 was released.

If so, in late February the company will unveil these two new phones and potentially share a release date. We hear it may be released in the United States between March 4 and 11. Thoughts?
