The Indian Premier League (IPL)2023 is expected to start from the last week of March in 2023. Prior to the tournament, a mini-auction will be held in Bengaluru on 16 December. away format after three years. The last time this format was played was before the Covid-19 pandemic in 2019.

“The next season of the Men’s IPL will also return to the home away format, with 10 teams playing their home matches at the designated venues.” BCCI’s outgoing President Saurav Ganguly stated on 22 September.

Gujarat Titans win IPL 2022
10 teams participated in IPL 2022 for the first time. That season, the most successful teams of the IPL – Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings – were placed at the bottom of the scoreboard.
Newcomers to that season were the Gujarat Titans and the Lucknow Super Giants led by KL Rahul. Gujarat Titans won the match in their opening appearances. Hardik Pandya is back after injuries and in the final to lead the team; they beat Sanju Samson– Managed Rajasthan Royals at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
