WATCH- “I’m not Deepti Sharma…” – Mitchell Starc warns Jos Buttler to abandon the non-forward end

Deepti Sharma slammed Mankading England’s Charlie Dean for harsh criticism when the two countries clashed in the Lord’s house. Its extinction ended England’s hope, and for the first time India whitewashed England in their home.

Outside of the fans, this escape has been a topic of conversation even among former and current cricketers. Given the nature of Mankading, some supported it, while others slammed Deepti for not giving a warning to the batter at the end of the non-hit team. Fans and cricketers had a lot to say on ‘Spirit of Cricket’.

An incident occurred when Australia clashed with England in the third T20I on Friday, October 14th. Mitchell Starc Dawid bowled Malan and gave a warning to Jos Buttler on his return to the bowling area.

Starc’s voice caught in his stubby microphone. He told Butler: “I’m not Deepti but I won’t. Doesn’t mean you can leave early”

Specifically, Butler has been Mankaded twice. Sri Lanka’s Sachithra Senanayake sacked him in an ODI in 2014, while Ravichandran Ashwin Mankaded him at IPL 2019.

“I’m not a big fan of this” – Aaron Finch at Mankading

Australian captain Aaron Finch said he’s not a big fan of Mankading. “I didn’t know about it, I didn’t know about it,” he said. “I think if the shooters get a warning, it’s fair game from now on. That goes for most teams, I suppose, if you give the batter a warning that they’re getting a little too much ground before the ball rolls. But I’m not a big fan of it, to be honest, personally‘ said Finch.

Meanwhile, in the match between the two countries, England took the first hit and scored 112/2 in 12 overs at the Manuka Ovals. Jos Buttler scored 65 points with 41 balls. Australia could have scored 30/3 in 3.5 before the match was suspended due to rain.
