Based on all the reports and rumors we’ve seen over the past few months, Samsung is gearing up to announce and launch a brand new Galaxy Note 7 early next month. With that in mind, here we will compare it to last year’s popular Galaxy S6 for those considering an upgrade. Here’s what we know so far about Samsung’s new phone.
Sure, Samsung launched a new Galaxy S7 and the larger Galaxy S7 Edge in March, which many are debating about buying, but the Galaxy Note 7 could offer more. Those waiting to see what’s next might be quite surprised.
We’ve been hearing about the new Galaxy Note for months, but Samsung will call it the Note 7 instead of the Note 6. Just like the new S7 is almost identical to the Galaxy, it will look similar to the Galaxy Note 5. Q6. However, there are some important changes that all potential buyers should be aware of.
While we’re not entirely sure a new Note 7 is coming in August, that’s what all the rumors suggest. The Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 Edge Plus arrived last August. However, it lacked a micro SD slot, sufficient storage, a removable battery, or even a large battery. Galaxy S6 had the same issue as Galaxy S7 in early 2016 which was fixed immediately.
As a result, most Galaxy S6 users either held the phone a little longer, upgraded to the Galaxy S7 (or S7 Edge), or are now waiting for the slightly bigger and better Galaxy Note 7. move, because we hear it’s going to be pretty impressive, even if not all the rumors are true.
The Samsung Galaxy S6 still has a lot to like, but the fact that it doesn’t add a micro SD to expand its storage and poor battery life makes it a phone worth replacing. Samsung fixed these issues this year and that will be more evident than ever with the new Note 7.
For starters, we should point out that nothing is official here. Everything below is based on leaks and rumors, although we’re pretty sure about most of them. Samsung hasn’t announced anything and the rumors are still mild. That said, a lot of it comes from reliable sources, not to mention making sense given what we’ve seen from the S7 Edge and the natural progression of the Note and Galaxy S lineup.
The Galaxy Note 7 has everything the Galaxy S6 has to offer and more, expandable storage, a better camera, longer battery life, the latest software and will be water resistant. These are the important things, and we’ll cover them and more in our slideshow below. Let’s start.
