The app was created with the original idea of allowing parents to get quick responses from their kids. In practice, it is necessary ReplyASAP installed on both smartphones, that is, that of the parent and child. But the app can also be used to force a loved one to reply to messages.
The most interesting thing is that if the interlocutor is next to the smartphone, there is no way for him not to know that there is a message, as the mobile phone is constantly ringing, even if it is in silent mode. In addition, the smartphone remains frozen on the screen in use until the receiver answers. All he can do is ask for a “3 minute break”.
Finally, ReplyASAP is not a free app. If it’s free to download from the Play Store, the parent needs to purchase it for £0.99 or around €1.12 to be able to send a message. Additionally, the app is only available in English, but according to its creator, a French version will be available shortly.
